Stolen Motorcycle Located

Today, local officers recovered a Truimph motorcycle that had been stolen from the local area.

Thanks to information provided by vigilant members of the public, we were able to locate the motorcycle and contact the registered owner before they had even reported it stolen. Recovering stolen vehicles quickly helps preserve valuable forensic opportunities, reducing the risk of evidence being contaminated and improving our chances of identifying those responsible.

We will continue to focus our efforts on motorcycle theft and identifying those responsible for these offences.

🔒 We would also like to remind motorcycle and vehicle owners to take steps to protect their property:

✅ Keep vehicles locked and, where possible, stored securely in a garage or out of sight.
✅ Ensure any CCTV systems are active and recording .
✅ Consider installing a tracker, which can significantly assist in recovering stolen vehicles.
✅ Use multiple security measures such as disc locks, chains, and ground anchors 🔐.
